Thursday November 10

Today we talked about the sacrifice, courage and bravery of all the men and women who fought to keep us safe. We practiced our Little Poppy Poem and read Remembrance Day stories.  We talked about how we can be peaceful at home and school.

AM Kindergarten did a guided drawing of a poppy and used watercolors to paint.

AM Kindergarten attended a Remembrance Day Assembly. PM Kindergarten read, "A Poppy is to Remember " and did poppy art. We talked about the significance of a poppy. We talked about what courage and bravery means and if there was a time that we have had to show courage or bravery.

PM Kindergarten had music and Green Fools. Ask them about what they did.
