Tuesday December 20

Today we had an exciting day at school. It was funky socks day and we created our gingerbread traps.

We met with the Hubner/Kelly/ Low Grade 3/4 Triad to help us with our Gingerbread Traps. Kindergarten has been reading many Gingerbread stories and read "How to Catch a Gingerbread" to get our inspiration for our traps. We started with making our plan yesterday and  today went to the makerspace to bring our plan to life. Our buddies helped us with cutting and gluing. We had so much fun! All the traps are very creative.

We had to make sure our traps followed our criteria which was that the trap had to have at least 4 items, the gingerbread person needed to fit in the trap and it needed to be inviting to the gingerbread person.
