Monday February 27

Kindergarten had inline skating today. The children's skills are really improving and we are so proud of all their efforts.

AM Kindergarten had music and PM Kindergarten had centers.

We created cover pages for our Winter Winter booklets. We made tissue paper mittens. We  used tissue paper and white glue to cover a mitten template and then we will cut the mittens out to go on the cover of our books.

We practiced our drawing skills by following along with an art hub for kids drawing. We are practicing on whiteboards to do step by step.

AM Kindergarten practiced some math problems. We had to solve addition word problems. PM Kindergarten will try them tomorrow. We listened to a word problem and looked at the picture and had to write a number sentence and/or pictures to show our answers.

Inline Skating Schedule starts this week.

If you are able to help out for inline skating please sign up on the link below. We are looking for volunteers to help the children get their gear on for skating. The equipment will be provided but if you do have a helmet for your child, please send it to school, labelled with their name. Thank you.

AM Kindergarten- Wednesday March 1 (Mask), Thursday March 2 (Conley)

PM Kindergarten-  Thursday March 2

If you would like to volunteer and have a valid police clearance, please sign up using the following link Volunteer Sign Up as we need parents to join us to supervise on the bus and in the change rooms. Thank you!

Also if your child has never been to a pool to swim before, it would be a good opportunity to take your child prior to going as a class. They can get used to what the pool area looks like, how the water feels, how we get dressed and undressed after swimming, etc.

Upcoming Events

Friday March 3- NO school for Kindergarten

Monday March 6-9- Swimming

Thursday March 9 and Friday March 10- Parent teacher Conferences (details to follow)
