Wednesday February 15
Today we read, "A Little Spot of Anger" and talked about what makes us angry. We talked about ways to bring us back to the green zone of feeling calm and ready to learn. We drew pictures of an angry face for our zones collage.
AM Kindergarten had music with Mrs. Coulson and PM Kindergarten had gym.
We painted our map of our hearts with watercolours.
We played math games and had big centers.
Have a wonderful long weekend. See you Tuesday!
Thank you to the parents who have sent by the swim forms. They need to be returned by Tuesday February 21 so please have them filled out and returned for after the long weekend. We appreciate your cooperation. The pool requires forms two weeks in advance. Thank you.
If you would like to volunteer and have a valid police clearance, please sign up using the following link Volunteer Sign Up as we need parents to join us to supervise on the bus and in the change rooms. Thank you!
Also if your child has never been to a pool to swim before, it would be a good opportunity to take your child prior to going as a class. They can get used to what the pool area looks like, how the water feels, how we get dressed and undressed after swimming, etc.
